My Weekend

Happy Monday Everyone!

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend, I know that I did! This post is not really a beauty related post just wanted to say hello! This weekend I did a bit of shopping though and I was able to pick up the Cocomotion pigment from MAC and the eyeshadow called Graphology which I LOVE it is a super matte dark dark purple colour that just might possibly replace my carbon! We will see! I will do a review on those a bit later because they are just fantastic!

Anyways if any of you guys live in Canada you will know that this weekend was the Much Music Video Awards and since I live in Toronto I was lucky enough to get in on this action! I knew the celebs would be in town and since one of my friends used to be a VJ for Much Music and now hosts a news program he was coming back to do the exit interviews after the awards blah blah blah long story short we got to go to the after parties with him! So it was all very fun! Saturday night was the rehearsal for the show and since I was not planning on going to the actual show it was an amazing surprise when I went to pick up my sushi for dinner and saw that Kelly Clarkson was sound checking on the stage across the street! There was hardly anyone around so it was just amazing to get to see her perform! After dinner my boyfriend and I decided to go back and see if anything else was going on and when we got there the Black Eyed Peas were just coming out to rehearse and after them we saw Lady GaGa rehearse as well! Anyways it was just such a great night as it was basically a concert and since the crowd was small it was easy for us to walk up to the front! Very exciting! Here are some pics...
