As of late I have been looking for a pink lipstick that would not be considered pale or too bright but would be a perfect in between shade that would look good with a nude eye. Yesterday my prayers were answered and I found my new favourite lipstick that gives my lips a noticeable pink sheen but is not too intense! I was reluctant to spend a lot of money on a lipstick that I was not expecting to wear on a daily basis so I decided to test it out on a Sephora brand lipstick because I figured they would be a decent quality but not as expensive as a higher end brand. I picked out the Sephora brand lipstick in G02 Pink Lover in the Glamour line. It's a bit sheer and glossy so it's not too harsh or in your face, just the perfect wash of a brighter pink! The second thing I picked up at Sephora yesterday was the Bare Escentuals Glimmer eyeshadow in Sex Kitten. After reading Lollipop26's post about it I had to go and try it to see if it did make a difference with my green eyes! I went to one Sephora and they did not have any Sex Kitten in stock so the lady gave me a nice sized sample which I thought was great, I did not know they did that, I wonder if they will always give you a sample if you ask?? Or if they have to be completely out of stock to give one? Anyways I took the sample and went home and tried it out that night and boy oh boy was it fantastic! I have never seen my green eyes look so bright! I just did a wash of the eyeshadow all over my upper and lower lids with a few coats of mascara and it was a Godsend! That being said I felt I needed to go and buy it because clearly I could not live much longer without this in my makeup collection! I have yet to try this wet or just as a liner as it was suggested but I can only imagine how it would look. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, whether you have green eyes or not. It is a gorgeous browny mahogany as the website says and I would agree! Kind of a mix between MAC's Bronze eyeshadow and Antiqued.
Anyways just wanted to fill you in on my thoughts as I was very pleased and excited about these things! Hope you all have a wonderful day! :)
